Good evening everyone! I recently purchased a paired Yellow Watchman Goby and Tiger Pistol Shrimp, and was looking for a little guidance. I’ve done a lot of reading, and after getting my little duo I posted on Reddit to show them off.

I was immediately told my substrate (black Hawaiian... Other epic gobies: Circus goby (very cryptic, acts like a little lionfish) Black rayed shrimp goby (just a dope looking nano goby for a pistol pair) Clown gobies (theres a green, yellow and the citron clown goby, all really cool fish which tend to perch in hilarious places very much like blennies. Hope this helps! I see @Lasse commented also and I agree the citron goby is way more destructive to acros than the "regular" clown goby or correct name Okinawae.

Hi all, At the beginning of the year I brought home two juvenile Ocellaris Clownfish, and a few months later introduced a Fire Goby. Things were going well, they've all been growing and hanging out, but in the last day my Fire Goby has disappeared, the larger Clown has a notch in on of her fins, and she's being very aggressive with the male. I’m looking for a hardy sand sifting Goby that will last. I’ve been hearing that sand sifting gobies tend not to last long because the sand bed gets cleaned and then it just wastes away.

I have a 45 gallon tank. I want to get a YWG to pair with a pistol shrimp. I would also like to get a diamond or some type of sand sifting goby. Would doing so be likely to cause problems?
