This new stocking plan makes a good degree of sense, but skipping Punderson--one of the only inland lakes that can support a year round trout fishery--doesnt. If the state is going to invest in trout stocking, why would they skip the one place that might actually have something of a viable fishery? It has for decades.

Spent my 'growing up' years at Punderson - sorry to read of no trout stocking - - great memories, & always a thrill back then seeing a nice-sized golden or rainbow trout caught while ice fishing.
