Just got a Caudabe Sheath after using an Apple Silicone case since launch and wondering if you get used to the cutout on the side. I posted earlier, but I have no problems using the cutout on the Sheath. It works well for me.

Understanding the Context

I’m past all the cutout drama. But, what I’m surprised about is that I’m 50-50 on Sheath or Paragon. Not sure if Caudabe changed the material used on Synthesis case or not. But my s24 ultra Synthesis case, bought in June 2024, does not have the issue at all.

Key Insights

I initiated the exchange process and requested a Sheath black case instead. Hopefully, it will be more scratch resistant like many have said here. To Caudabe. My go to every year is a Sheath. It’s been great.

Final Thoughts

No QC issues here after almost a year of use. If anything they just keep getting better. I got a Synthesis too but still like the Sheath the best. Just a heads up regarding the camera control cutout on Caudabe cases. I was just informed by their customer support that they have no plans to update their iPhone 16 cases with a capacitive cover. I guess I'll have to pass this year and see what they have to offer next year for the iPhone 17.

Caudabe just pushed some of their cases back to mid November due to "slight manufacturing delay." I am waiting for them to cancel my order, you can't do it yourself in the self service tool, have to email them. For whatever reason the Defender Pro I have on the 12 PM is getting oily, greasy spots throughout the day on the back. So what’s the best between an Otterbox, Mous Limitless, or Caudabe Sheath? I wouldn’t mind Benks Armor Pro either.
